JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Fit new fire doors, repair door frames, and upgrade existing doors to meet required safety standards.
Carry out fire stopping works and install fire-related plasterboard to ensure proper fire containment.
Install electrical enclosures safely and correctly.
Maintain a high standard of quality management across all installation and repair tasks.
Keep accurate records and complete minor administrative paperwork related to completed works.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents and clients.
Drive a company-issued van safely between different locations to carry out daily tasks.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Proven hands-on experience fitting, repairing, and upgrading fire doors.
Strong, detailed understanding of fire door components and fire-stopping materials.
Good working knowledge of relevant British Standards for fire safety and building compliance.
Must hold a full UK driving licence to operate the provided company van.
An innovative mindset with a strong focus on quality control and safety standards.
Good organisational skills with a reliable standard of record-keeping.
Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
